Studio Work - River View

It's now 106 degrees in Ohio, which is really hot for us. I am hibernating in the house until sundown. We are supposed to get a front moving through this evening and we will be back in the low 90's which are normal, but still hot for me.

I couldn't find any reference photos to use today that inspired me. I got out one from my Utah trip and started painting it realistically, but that was boring me. I started using the palette knife and just started messing around with it. It started to come around and I really like how it ended up.
